Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) strives to improve the lives, homes, and community facilities of low-income individuals while providing a positive volunteer experience for community members and partners.

This year we will worked with MONICA’S DAYCARE located in Redwood City – our very own backyard!  Monica runs a family daycare so the repairs are critical to her family and the children she cares for…as a child care provider to low-income families, Monica provides a safe place for her daycare families to feel confident that their children are in good hands while they work to provide for their families.

When you visit Monica’s Daycare you are greeted with the happy sounds of children’s laughter and the bright colors of a children’s learning environment. Monica is dedicated to helping her low-income parents by providing affordable daycare so they can work, but also by “caring for and preparing her daycare children to be confident and independent.”

Monica’s Daycare will now be able to enjoy their new daycare complete with new floor, a fresh paint job, new light fixtures and electrical outlets, new french drain, installation of a new gas stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal and a newly landscaped play area for the kids!
